Results & Aftercare

At Sonu's Beauty n Makeup Studio, we strive to provide the best in laser treatments. We understand that everyone has different skin needs and will tailor each treatment to suit you individually. After your laser procedure is completed, it is important to follow our aftercare instructions carefully.


Generally speaking, you should expect some redness and slight swelling post-treatment but this should subside within a few days or weeks depending on the type of laser used. Sun exposure should be avoided as much as possible until any redness subsides completely. It is also advisable to use sunscreen when outdoors.


Results can be seen right away in some cases but typically results take several weeks or even months depending on the area being treated and the severity of the problem. We recommend that you schedule follow-up appointments with us to monitor progress and ensure proper healing as well as discuss any additional treatments if necessary.

Additionally, some of our newer lasers utilize innovative technologies that can help with discomfort.

  • How many treatments will I need?

    Depending on your individual needs, you may require anywhere between one and six treatments to achieve desired results. Your aesthetician at Sonu's Beauty n Makeup Studio will recommend the best treatment plan for you during your consultation. Keep in mind that ech laser session can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more.
